Ms. Maryam Alkhawaj ,Bahraini citizen, the Acting President of the Bahrain Centre for Human Rights (BCHR), was banned  by a British Airways  upon directions  of  Bahrain Government from boarding her flight to Bahrain. Ms. Al-Khawaja had decided to visit  her motherland Bahrain , for another time as legitimate and natural right  .The Bahraini government has escalated its crackdown on human rights defenders and activists arresting a bloggers, a photographer ,as well as a blogger"s  lawyer,  and banned  entry ofjournalists, most recently an Aljazeera reporter,  independent researchers and human rights  delegates. It has cancelled a planned visit by Sp.Rapporteur on Torture, Juan Mandez , to Bahrain last  June.Ms. Al-Khawaja was  hoping to visit her detained father, human rights defender Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja in jail ,  currently serving a life sentence for his peaceful human rights activism. She was also to visit her sister, human rights activist Zainab Al-Khawaja also serving multiple sentences in the Isa Town Female Detention Centre. We cite the Constitution of Bahrain Article 17 para (C )"No citizen shall be deported from Bahrain, nor shall be denied re-entry".and  Freedom of movement (Art.12) of  the The International Covenant On Civil And Political Rights, which Bahrain has ratified: "In no case may a person be arbitrarily deprived of the right to enter his or her own country". We urge the government of Bahrain to refrain of forcing Bahraini citizens into exile or denaturizing them or denying them the right of re-entry to their homeland, and allow Ms Maryam Alkawaja, entry to Bahrain, anytime , regardless of having Danish passport or expired Bahraini passport. We urge member states of  UN-Human Rights Council,High Commissioner of Human Rights and President of HRC,  in view of Bahrain previous pledges, to undertake  their responsibility in this respectBahrain Human Rights ObservatoryBahrain , 9 Aug. 2013
